Web browser SLOW?

The web browser on my storm 2 is so slow that I have stopped using it lately.

My son just got the DROID and his internet is SOOOO much faster I can't believe it.

Anyone have any comments on how their internet service is?

I've seen a UTube demo on Crackberry and RIM's browser capabilities, by its design at this point, runs like a tortoise when compared to the Droid & IPhone. Perhaps an official OS update on 5.0 will address the issue.

So, browsing, while not torturous, is a component you live with on a scale when comparing email efficiency, screen design, interaction to apps, and the overall appeal of the device hardware. For those who suffered for a year with the original Storm, the stability of the Storm2 has created a loyalty to BB and the Storm design.

Besides, most people navigate on Desktop or laptop for their internet browsing. I know for me, for more than a moment or two on my Storm, I find a 3" screen to be "corporal punishment." Besides...

The browser that comes with all blackberries is sub-standard compared to most any other platform I can think of.

You would be much happier downloading a copy of Bolt or Opera to your phone 😁
