Awesome while it lasted, then i realized i cant see the caller id of whos calling on the front LCD when its more than a INCH away from my eyes.......and then it started to freeze on me...............WOW , how fast it went from GRAND to bland!!!!!!

Are you just seeing the numbers on the front lcd? if you have them programmed in your phone and you cant see the name on the outside lcd, then you have to take the 1 out of your numbers. for example, if you have the number programmed as 1-201-389-3252, then it wont show up on the outside screen. if you save the number as 201-389-3252 then the name will show up. i hope this helps you, i had this problem and i hope it helps you.

Despite all the complaints, the Audiovox 8900 is actually a great... Not good, a great phone.... A very solid feel... Loud ringer... Excellent reception and connectivity... Very clear sound quality... Best I have ever had from a Verizon phone... The speakerphone sucks, but if you put the phone on a table, it is awsome... Or, just turn the speaker towards you and it works great... Plus the people can still hear you... The camera is so so, but hey it is a phone.... And you don't have to use verizons get scammed now to put pictures on the phone...
I would say best Verizon phone at the moment... Any other comments....
