Hard to believe. There is a right side hinge issue that I am finding to be more and more common with these i680 phones. The Motorola holster is inferior, and allows the phone to fall out. Mine broke the right side hinge from simply falling out of its holster a few times. I also live in Florida, but this phone is a fragile piece of junk, and I can not believe that it is touted as meeting military specs for being rugged.
My warranty runs out March 2011, but Motorola refuses to honor it, and will charge me $105.93 to fix the phone.
