5230 Plain and Nuron

Mar 9, 2010, 2:44 PM
Nokia has two devices with the 5230 label. They look pretty much alike. The difference is in the 3G bands.

The Nuron has AWS band 3G. The 5230 has 850/1900 MHz WCDMA for 3G.

The Nuron has T-Mobile US 3G capability. The 5230 without the Nuron designation works on other 3G networks such as AT&T.

The 850/1900 version is available on the web site. The Nuron, as of this moment, is not.
