Sirius XM app?

QB1800

Jun 3, 2010, 9:05 AM
I currently have the BB 8330m and am due for an upgrade on 7/1. This phone seems like something I would be interested in and was wondering if the SiriusXM app will work on it? Has anyone tried it? From what I understand the app will work on newer model BBs. I appreciate any help on this topic. Thanks!

Thank you for the quick response! Looks like I have a lot of thinking to do if I want another blackberry or make a switch to the Hero.

No prob 🙂 One thing to keep in mind is that even though the Hero is a great little Android phone, it is an older model (well, old as far as cellphones go at least)...and is not "cutting edge". It's no slouch, but it's not a speed demon either. I like mine, but I'm not what you would call a power-user. I just use it to make calls, send texts/IM's, twitter, facebook, pandora/sirius, and browse the internet.

If you want a much faster phone that can handle the latest-and-greatest android stuff, I'd suggest saving up and getting the HTC Evo that just came out.

Also, I heard somewhere that Sprint stores will give you a $50 trade-in credit if you give them your old Blackberry, but I can't verify that. Call your Sprint store and ask.

Thanks for the info! I would most likely use it for the exact same things you mentioned. I also heard about the $50 credit for trading in the old blackberry, my only concern with that is I usually don't do the monthly insurance so if I ever broke my phone I would like to have an old one to go back to. If it was a $100 credit, that would be a different story.
