HTC Hero (CDMA)
Could be quite nice
This phone could be quite nice.
They have done all the things I have wanted in a phone.
1. 3.5mm Headphone jack
2. Standard charging data port
3. Removable standard memory
4. a very usable web browser
5. CDMA radio so it actually makes good calls
6. Open applications market
7. Good connectivity with calendar, email, contacts
I for one am happy with the form factor change over the previous models. Yes it looks more "bland" but it is flat and has a smaller form factor/screen size ratio.
I think that the iphone is the standard that these devices should be measured against. I think from a hardware standpoint they have made some improvements (removable/upgradable battery, memory, CDMA radio, standard data/charging port, h...
