Locking up

I have a question, has anyone else had there phone lock up more or crash after getting the new update? The ther day i shut my phone off and when i turned it back on it came up a black screen and a error message. Took it to verizion and they did a rset on it and a few days later it started acting up again. Sorry for the really long run on sentence....
