Warrenty Issue

I went to the VZW store and the guy there said that the manufacturer's warranty does not cover battery replacement. I have had my phone less than a year and every other phone I have ever had gives a free battery within one year. Is the Droid exempt from this? I use Advanced Task Killer all the time to make sure I'm not running multiple programs and my battery is getting worse and worse. Please let me know what to do.

I've never had a battery covered by a manufacturer's warranty.

If you believe it is, in fact, a manufacturing defect in the battery, you can always try contact motorola directly. Your local verizon store should have the number.

You're not carrying the droid in a case with a magnet or magnetic clasp are you?

No I have a regular case on it. And yes manufacturers allow you to replace the battery within the first year. In the past, all I had to do was either call Verizon or go into the store. This is my first smart phone which is why I wasn't sure if they are covered.

Thanks for replying to my posts Mupi!
