Motorola Droid getting another non-Gingerbread update

Verizon wireless just posted the changelog mentioning the changes that would be made in the coming update of software in the Motorola Droid phone. There are quite few improvements made in the OS that promises to take the interface and the user experience to the next level, although it’s not a major upgrade like Gingerbread (Android 2.3 that is expected to come in the first quarter of 2011). The OS change is going to be a minor update to the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system. The update is for the A855 model.
