Froyo question
It looks like we will see this upgrade soon for the Droid. Somewhere a few weeks ago, i read that the upgrade will allow apps to be installed on to the SD card, but now, I am not seeing that posted anywhere as a new feature. Will that be part of the upgrade or not?

It's pretty hard to say until the official update comes out, however, I can tell you it is in the leaks, and it is supposed to be an official part of Froyo, so if they take it out, it they will be crippling a part of the base OS. not that I'd put it past verizon to try to cripple it, but pretty sure they'd lose some pretty loyal customers if they tried that stunt here.

yeah it should unless announced otherwise, it has been in the last 4 builds for the 2.2 software. i have yet to run any build on any OS (ie bb, windows, palm etc.) that stuff like that unless customized by the builder wasn't in the official build.
