According to Google and Adobe, the Droid is the next phone (after the Nexus) to get the update.

Of course, this is up to Moto and verizon, but I bet moto is working on it already, and verizon would be stupid to block it.

Can u just store apps on the memory card or can u run them from there also?

You will be able to store and run most apps
from the SD card in Froyo 2.2.

I have read some people saying the Bluetooth headset wasnt voice dialing with the Froyo update out now on their NexusOne.
If its a plantronics bluetooth headset, do a long press on the button on your headset, then you will hear the bluetooth on the phone ask you to say a command.

Finally ANDROID/Froyo 2.2 has the Voice dial over bluetooth we have all been waiting for.

Google has said it will be.

Motorola has said it will be, and have added that it will be "in the near future"

Absent those two data points, it is a near certainty that the hackers will succeed at at getting it running. 2.1 was available on the Droid long before the official release; and almost all of the features were also available separately in various guises. At least one of the developers succeeded in taking google's NexusOne source, and building a fully functional "real" 2.1 for the droid.
