I work at at&t and I own the Samsung Eternity. I absolutely love it!!! The Mythic is a great replacement phone for the Eternity. The only complaint I have would be for Samsung.....How many of the exact same phones will they make for at&t before they get it RIGHT?? Actually, I think they may have almost gotten it perfected. First came the Eternity, great camera, I'm likein the touch screen, expandable memory,Wigits are awesome, great features all around, and to top it all off, I gotta have my FloTV! Then came the Impression, same exact phone with updated Wigits, and they replaced FloTV with a slide out keyboard. Good and bad, some people don't wish to pay more for the FloTV, and it worked. Another great companion phone to pitch to customers. But the Solstice? Downgraded camera? Still no FloTV? How do we pitch this phone as an UPgrade to the Eternity or even the Vu? Flop!!! Then came the issues people had with the phone, people just brought it back and returned to the Impression. But I think the Mythic is going to work. They brought back the camera AND the FloTV, kept the easy access social networking Wigits. Basically all the features that were great in the Eternity with a sleeker new look and of course, better Wigits. The only thing they should have done to make the phone perfect (for me at least) is to make it capable of of threaded text messaging and we got a deal! If Samsung keeps up this pattern, be prepared for a Mythic repeat in about 3 months, hopefully this time they keep the features and just add the threading, possible camera upgrade too. But seriously, we are going to need some more originality from Samsung.....
Those of you considering the Mythic, I would highly reccomend it. For the females like me who get their nails done up in acrilyc, the touch screen works great with the nails, actually I think it was kind of meant for them!
