I'm yawning just looking at the CLIQ. To me it looks like another smartphone cut out of the "I want to be the next Iphone killer" mold.

And then there is the question of will it WORK like, or better than, an Iphone. The Palm Pre has been the closest to ring that bell and even they are struggling. I'm betting my money that this phone will fall short for our friends at Moto. I think they need to stir the pot a bit harder to come up with something that'll propel them back into the spotlight.

Im tired of all this "iphone killer" crap. To me the iphone is dead, Android is here to stay. Google is making strides in all of their software. I can do the same stuff on my android phone as the Apple one can, except multi-touch out of the box. Apple's phone cannot multi-task out of the box. So both devices have advantages over the other. Every device out there has things it can do the other cant. Blackberry with its UMA, Android with its multi-tasking and open source and Google, iphone with its marketing.

No one device is the iphone killer. Android is the iPhone killer. It puts an entire industry as competition with an open source os that does not force you to go to one company which controls your entire experience with the device.
No offense to the Apple fanboys but Apple cannot compete with the entire industry running a common open-source platform that is both powerful and user friendly. There are just too many great developers with great products to come.
