Motorola Barrage V860

I've had this phone for a few months and I'm greaty pleased with it. This is one of the best Motorola flip phones I've had in a while.

One thing I've read on is people complaining about the battery life shortening. I too had this experience. But I think I know what the problem is. It's Push-to-Talk.

When I first got this phone it had amazing battery life. My wife got one too and we put the PTT feature on our plan. We aways kept our PTT Mode turned on and eventually found the battery draining alot faster than usual. I thought it was a crap battery. I tried using the phone without PTT turned on and so far it has greatly increased my battery life. I've gone 2 days and still have full battery! I haven't used it heavily but I've made several calls and the battery is keeping its charge.

The PTT feature is great and works really well but consider turning off the PTT feature when not in use. You can always send your peeps a text if you want to start a PTT conversation then turn PTT back on. But if you don't use PTT all the time and you want increased battery life, turn off PTT.

I don't know if everybody having battery issues are using PTT but this was my experience. I hope this helps.
