Yes I'm able to send and receive mms, it's nice to finally have available. Pictures, video, and even voice notes!

This is how I got mine working. After updating to 3.1 but before updating iTunes to 9.0.

in a run box, type "cmd" to bring up the prompt.

Enter in this:

“C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe” /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1

This will allow you to go into itunes to choose the .ipcc file.

Go to the page for your iphone, and SHIFT+Click "Update". This will allow you to choose carrier information file .ipcc using the drop down box. Point it to the file, restart your phone and MMS should be enabled. If it doesn't work on 3.0, you might have to update, but I believe it should work either way.

Everyone should know the iPhone 3.0 supports MMS Messaging, however AT&T is not currently allowing it on their network.  To enable it you need:

Modified version of ATT_US.ipcc get it here
iPhone running firmware 3.0
iTunes 8.2
Another AT&T Phone, non-iphone
Enabling IPCC Updates for iTunes 8.2

MAC OS X

Close iTunes
Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal)
Run the command: defaults write com.apple.iTunes carrier-testing -bool TRUE
Windows 32 Bit

Close iTunes
Go to Start then Run and type CMD
Run this command(If you right-click on the cmd window you can paste): “C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe” /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1
Windows 64 Bit

Close iTunes
Go to Start then Run and type CMD
Run...
