alright i have a quick ? for you IPHONE users....i currently use the DROID ERIS and have been thinking about comming over to the IPHONE.....the few things that are keeping me from moving to the iphone is that i would be downgradeing to a 3 megapixel camera from a 5 megapixel camer...this IS a BIG deal for me being that i travel A LOT...also id be looseing the android market and OS which i REALLY REALLY REALLY like....my girlfriend has the IPHONE and it is very customizeable however just not quite as much as my ERIS ...i would really like to go to the iphone because of the larger screen and because it comes with twice the memory which i need for my pics and stuff like that...pretty much i am to the point that im about to honestly take a quar...

3gs has a 3 mp camera as well as a faster processor and video editing software. the 3g has a 2mp camera and a slower processor and no video editing. the original iphone is still edge network so the browsing is alot slower. I have a 3gs and i am so happy with it. browsing is super fast faster than the bold i owned before hand. Also apple app store has about twice as many apps as android app store. the main reason i like the iphone is because everything just seems to work and jive together. plus everything is just so smooth and easy to do. i mean there hasnt been a time where i was confused on how to do anything. trust me if you get an iphone you wont be disapointed. hope this helps at least alittle

If I were you I would just keep the ERIS. Once it gets the update to 2.1 it should be alot better. The Apps store grows every week so that shouldnt be the case. As fsar as the memory can't you just buy a bigger memory card? I think it can hold up to at least 16 gb then you can always transfer them to an external HD later. I think you will definately miss the full customization and multitasking the ERIS has. I have the HERO on Sprint and love it. I would never pay more for an overpriced phone thats not customizable on a network that has so many problems with their 3g service. Not to mention you can't even remove the battery on an iphone.

TRUE..TRUE...and TRUE again 😁 ..ive really been debateing this for a while 😕 ...my girlfriend has the iphone so i play with it all the time...CUSTOMIZATION is a HUGE part along with the camera and service...ive pretty much made the decision to stay with my ERIS because the ONLY thing i would Honestly be gaining out of it would be more memory....and maybe a couple games...And as you said the ANDROID MARKET is growing every single day...Also the memory on the Eris isnt to bad...has a 8gb internal as well as an 8gb removeable....is it the same with the HERO? Also do you maybe know when the update of ANDROID 2.0 or 2.1 will be sent out for the eris??? or if it will be sent out at all? like say if AT&T had a more reliable network in my aera it ...

Droid Eris is upgradable to 16GB external microsd card (thought it was 32 but guess its only 16) but its still more than what you have!

Please...the whole crybaby thing about not being able to remove the battery....that is so old! I've had iPhones since day one and I've never found the need to remove the battery...so guess what rocket scientist....I never worried about not being able to! LOL!!!

Non-issue..so move along.

Now....talk about something more tangible and substantial, like coverage..then you have an argument.

ATT SUCKS!
