First its to late to even think about buying a 3gs. You only gave a couple more months till the iPhone HD comes out(4g) what ever you want to call it. That will have upgraded cameras etc. Your compareingg cameras on just Meg pix alone. Not good. A 5 Kodak camera for 59 bucks at kmart is no compare to a 5 mp canon 200 buck. The touch to focus works great. The best apps on the android os will be the virus protection. That what it will be like with a open os

You can do a side by side comparison here at this site.

You will see that the 'S' model has a faster processor, more memory (both help with games) and better screen protection.

The other features mostly come with newer software which you can add to the older model(s).

Why after enjoying REAL 3g service would you want to go to AT&T? Not to bad mouth the compitition, but aside from T-Mobile, AT&T has the smallest 3g coverage of any national carrier! If memory is an issue, get a bigger microsd card, it is expandable to 32G just like the iphone! Usually the whole point of switching phones or carriers is to upgrade not downgrade, especially with smartphones.
