3GS - Network Issue
I've have my 3GS for a couple of weeks and recently noticed that for some reason I am only getting the Edge network in places I used to get 3G coverage but when I enable Plane mode and then turn that off, I can get the 3G network... Anyone else having this issue? I am considering requesting a new phone since it really shouldn't happen...

I have the same problem, but I think it is the AT&T network. It is inconsistent and drives me nuts. I am in a very strong 3G area....but the signal will switch to Edge and almost no bars. AT&T is a network that must be having problems they simply will not or can not fix. Maybe it is the Union workforce. Unions generally succeed in making a workforce weak and eventually killing a company. Maybe that is going on. Very unfortunate.
