texting in landscape mode??

ok i was woundering if you can type in landscape mode, or just regular mode??

no!!! ive been with verizon for 12 years and been very interested in the iphone, this is the FIRST time ive ever asked a question about ATT or the iphone, so to your answer THERES NOT A ROCK BIG ENOUGH TO PUT ME UNDER!!!

Yes you can text in landscape mode. You can also make phone calls on it to.

i was playing with the one at walmart and tried to text in landscape mode and it wouldnt to landscape ???? and you can make phone calls, WOW!!!!

It's available only in the new3.0 software. So you must have been playing with a old 3g phone. The new 3gs phones come with 3.0 software.watch the key note listed on apple.com tells you all about it. Better yet watch this video. http://www.apple.com/iphone/guidedtour/

ok thats sweet!! now last question, i know there releasing the MMS soon but my friend says he bought a app that you can use MMS,is the true???

Yes there apps. That you can buy ( most under 5$) that will allow you to send them but they aren't going to be as nice as the built in SMS and mms features.
