I keep having people say that they cannot hear me or I sound like I am breaking up. This has happened with or without bluetooth and in all different areas. Anyone else having this problem or should I bring this back for exchange? HELP! It's only a few days and already trouble???

I picked up my Tour 2 weeks ago from Verizon and have never had so many people complain they could not hear me. Today I had the Tour replaced and the same problem continues to exist- very disappointing.

Phone Scoop reviews have not picked up on this but PhoneArena.com has it mentioned right off in their reviewhttp://www.phonearena.com/htmls/RIM-Bla ckBerry-Tour-9630-Review-review-r_2212-p_4.ht ml

The bottom line for me, as much as I like the phone I am going to go with an Envy Touch; the sound quality was noticeably better in the store today. Above all, I need a phone.

Problem is that if I try to return the tour and just go back to my old blackberry, they are going to charge me a $35 restocking fee! I think I'll call customer service and see what they can do for me.

It is really unfortunate that this is such an aweful sounding phone as its other features are rather nice.

I LOVE the phone but I can't really use it to make an actual phone call. It's a beautiful phone. Should I try the STORM??? I wonder....

The Storm has been getting terrible reviews. I started 3 weeks ago picking up an iPhone and fell in love with it in all ways except that AT&T in my area is a problem and I couldn't make/receive calls in many areas I drive.

Went back to Verizon and decided on the Tour based on the terrible reviews of the Storm and have had a similar experience to yours- you can make calls people just have you repeating yourself over and over.

I think that the solution is to downgrade to the Curve if you want to stay with Blackberry and Verizon (I haven't read people complaining about this combination) or to move to another brand.

At the AT&T store I tried the LG Env3 and EnvTouch and both sounded better on my end. I wanted to give a new Tour a ch...

People with the Tour on Sprint are reporting similar problems.

Problems are not uncommon on new release Blackberry's, I'm sure it will be resolved but this doesn't help early adopters. I'm sure this will be like a Bold given time, and it had its growing pains as well. But it isn't noticed much do to AT&T waiting before they released it. If I used Sprint or Verizon, I might wait a few months and get the Tour.

Call customer service and they will waive the $35 restocking fee. They did it for me. Just make sure that they put it in the notes on your account just in case the store rep gives you trouble.
