BB Tour trackball?
Is it just my phone or is anyone else having issues with their trackball? I have to scroll it like 2 to 3 times before it moves to the actual icon, vertically its only OK but horizontally its weird.

The phone is a piece of crap. I returned my and went to AT&T for the 3GS IPhone. The battery door was loose, the trackball froze and the plastic housing below the keypad was buckled. Verizon and BB should be ashamed! The quality is just not there.

I also had problem with horizontal movement on my second unit (first unit was draining battery too fast). The third one is working fine, and its back cover fits tighter than the other two.

Mine has the same problem...hopefully they'll have software fix in near future for this. Not a huge annoyance to deal with though

I had the same problem as well as the led light not working. I called verizon tech support. He walked me through a hard reset of the device. You have to backup your current files on the blackberry with desktop manager first. Then go to the security setting and wipe out all data to return to factory settings. Use this only as after trying a soft reset though. My tour is now working better than it was. If not comfortable doing this yourself, call vzw tech support. 🙂

Yea I tried all that with Sprint's blackberry support team but it still didn't work, track ball and LED light didn't work so I'm being sent a new one since I can't walk into a Sprint and switch it because unlike Verizon they don't have them in stores yet 👿 If I get sent another faulty one I'm done with the Tour I'll stick with my Curve.

i've had mine since launch and haven't had a single problem with it..don't notice if the battery door is loose because i have the silicone like protective case on it...and trackball works fine for me..nothing adjusting.

I had the same problem - battery door loose and the trackball would have problems with horizontal movement. I took the phone back and exchanged it for a new one and I haven't had any problems since.

i love my tour but i too did have issues... first one battery drained too fast... have had replacement for 2 or 3 months now and the horizontal is driving me a little bonkers... but i can deal for now... hopefully something will get done to fix it... oh and the battery door on the replacement was loose so before i left the verizon store i switched battery covers.. shhh hehe
