I hope no one actually relies on this website for any real "scoops".

Yeah seriously, you guys must not know how this site works. They only put the phone in the list about a week within the release date. It goes on the side when it goes in the carrier, and that only shows current phones available now (or within a few days)... The news is just in its own department on here, and they announced the Tour on here the same time everyone else did, and had all the same news.

Actually, I view this site all the time prime example when the Curve came to the CDMA side it was posted on the side for at least a month. So like I said before 3 days before launch. Oh yeah, I also notice that the Crunch i465 has been on the site for at least a month and it's not really officially out until the end of this month.

I went to look and the Palm Pre was posted on the side of the website with it's own forum on May 2nd the phone launched June 6th. Do you get what I'm saying now? I knew the phone was coming out 6 months ago but I like to come on this website while at work since its work friendly for me unlike crackberry to check up on anything new other's have found out about the phone.

Phonescoop doesn't post rumors or anything like that. They only deal with official announcements. So if you want reliable accurate info phonescoop is by far one of the best sites.

This is just a phone spec page in the database. It's not intended to be "news". We covered the Tour in our News section - and on the front page - the moment it was announced:

"...the moment it was announced" is my point. The name of this website implies you'll be privy to inside knowledge or hear about new devices first. I think CNN.com had a story out about the Tour before this site did. I just searched for the term "Onyx" and found nothing. Are you saying that phone doesn't exist yet? Either that or your search needs dramatic improvement. Here's a link for a review on it: http://crackberry.com/blackberry-onyx-review

I'm definitely not hatin' on Scoop. This is one of only a few sites I can access at work, so it would just be nice if it had more "scoops". It gets dull reading about the same stuff I can read about on any carriers website.

Ah. That's an understandable point of confusion. We're not a rumor site. We see that as something that sets us apart from many other sites out there.

Yes but Verizon released the HTC Ozone over a week ago and you apparently don't know this yet. There is a difference between a rumor and a fact. Get with it please and include this phone on your website

We are aware. We covered the announcement and the release date in the news on the front page:

We are unusually behind in adding phone specs to the database. I apologize for that. Some back-end server issues have kept me busy.

Wow it is amazing how many people are using this website at work to get information for the customers they are serving. I for one have used the phone comparison page more times than I remember. This sight is the only place that I will go to because of it's quality of information, keep up the good work Rich PHONESCOOP ROCKS!
