I got my TP2 on VZW yesterday and installed 6.5 on it. I don't know why, but battery life is REALLY BAD. I have it check my Exchange server every five minutes rather than push mail in order to conserve power. My XV6800 lasts all day even when I make calls and have it connecting via BT to my car kit.

This thing went from an overnight full charge removed at 10:00AM today to the low battery warning at 5:30PM, and I didn't even make one call! I guess it's going back soon.

Other complaints:
The "Sense" interface for email is a horrible pain in the butt. Oh, gee, I can swipe sideways to review mail in my Inbox, but getting to Outlook's nested folders is not an easy task.

The touch screen is way too sensitive. My XV6800 was more finger-fr...

I take that back. I just found an easier way to get to the Outlook folder view.

I must be freakin' blind!

Let me add that the honeycomb pattern of icons makes it look as though some kid flung a handful of icons onto the screen. I'm redaing the manual to find where I can re-arrange the icons.

OK, I officially like 6.5 on my new TP2. All of the problems I had with my XV6800 6.1 are gone, and the calendar "Agenda" view is AWESOME compared to the lousy Agenda view on the XV6800, which was basically worthless.

Plus, the Sense UI is nice. We (finally!) have a lot of rain here in southern California, and I laughed out loud when I saw the wiper clean the "rain" off of the screen. Lightning is even more funny...it actually flashes on the screen and screen flashes white. Some programmers had fun with it!

Battery life? SUCKS if one has the weather auto-update on. I get about eight hours out of it without the auto-update. Because I often spend a lot of time driving, I just plug it into the charger and don't worry about it.

I'm keep...

After researching a bit online, I decided to upgrade my TP2 to 6.5. Flashed it twice. No issues and I like the GUI tweaks they've done.

My biggest concern with the upgrade was regarding comments about battery life. Well, I'm experiencing the same issue when I have bluetooth turned on. With light usage, my battery is dead after about 5 hours. When I turn bluetooth off, I'm getting 24+ hours with light usage, which was better than my experience with 6.1. I set weather, stocks, and RSS to update manually. The network speed is good, so it only takes a few seconds to update manually (RSS longer). I set my work Exchange email to sync every 15 minutes and Hotmail every 30 minutes.

The overall speed seems to be faster too, however this...
