HTC Touch Pro2 (CDMA)

That is all well and good, but buying a new phone with an old operating system is a hard sell. My contract is up and I am looking at new phones. One of my requirements is that it comes native with a current operating system. I don't think that is asking too much. The carriers need to step up to the plate and keep their products current. Those that do will get more business. I like the Touch Pro 2 but both carriers that have the phone with a headset port (another requirement) also only ship with an old operating system. Not acceptable. I know I will be switching away from AT&T when I get my new phone because I want direct number keys (a 3rd requirement) and AT&T always remaps their number keys as function keys on all phones (including the Touch Pro 2). Sprint or Verizon would already have my business if they weren't so darn slow at keeping up with the market.
