Problem with notifications?
"...have 3 problems/complaints with it. It continuously says I have unread messages. This notification will not go away unless I physically open the message. If I have more than one message from the sender, I have to open the message that amount of times for it to go away. Also, while the phone is in my pocket and I get a text or email, the screen unlocks causing me to pocket dial. And lastly, if I open the keyboard with a message open, it will send a blank message to the sender."
OK, the first two complaints actually make sense...the mail has not been read, so it shows it as unread. Duh!
Can anyone confirm that the phone does have a problem with email or text unlocking the phone?
How about the problem of it sending a blank message?
On my XV6800's Today screen, I have "Messaging" as an item to show me my unread email count, and I have notifications turned OFF for inbound email. However, I still get a notification in the lower-left for every email. Does the TP2 have this problem?
Thank you!
Gregg
