Talking while charging your phone?

I am thinking about getting LG 4400, but I am uncertain about the following thing. After doing my research, I found out that LG 4400 has an unusual desktop charger (not the travel kind, as all of my other phones have). My question is then, is it possible to talk on the phone while it is being charged?

I will greatly appreciate your response.

standard charger for lg 4400 is cradle charger so phone needs to be closed and placed into cradle to charge, i think if you bought travel charger would be able to plug it on the bottom and talk while phone is getting charged. you might want to take look at the vx 6000 verizon got good deal on it right now.

no..you can talk on the phone while it's charging. I do it with both the car charger
and the home desktop charger.

For the home desktop charger, you just need to
take a dremel and carve out a little section of the base where a headset plugs into - then
you can attach your headset to the phone while charging and make calls.

I use all three chargers on mine. I use the desktop charger at home mostly for extra batteries. I use the travel charger and the car charger to charge the phones at work and in the car respectively. Talking is no problem with the travel or car charger as each is just a plugin in the bottom of the phone.

Talking while using the cradle charger is no problem. I've had this phone for at least a year and I've used that function many times. Very handy.

There are actually two versions of the 4400 charger. There is a desktop charger (I think it comes with the phone). However, you can go to your local phone store and buy a standard plug in (non-desktop) charger. That's what I have, and it's much more convenient. With the plug-in charger, you can talk on the phone and not look like a moron with a huge charging block on your ear! 🙂
