i don't have the n97, but i got the 5800xm. it's the same OS as the n97. no trouble at all setting up to att's network. fyi, i also only pay for the 15$ data plan also. i think that is because it is unbranded, meaning not touched or disabled by att...it's a cool phone. the rep at nokia said the 5800xm was very similar to the n97, only no real qwerty keyboard, its touchscreen only. i think yuo will not be dissapointed. if i had the extra money, and no wife, i probably would have ordered the n97.. ENJOY!!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
