The HTC Tilt2 by AT&T Wireless was sheer disappointment. This phone has nice features, which are great. The toushscreen response is very slow and it really lags. This could really be a good phone otherwise. It has really great features otehrwise.

My Pure isnt slow at all. I do NOT use TouchFlo...simply remove the tick by "TouchFlow" in your Today Screen setup.

I have tons of apps and games on my Pure with no issues to date. The call volume and ring volume are just fine.

The touch response on my phone is perfect...not over or under sensitive.

No freezes or lockups. I wonder if people have problems due to the apps they install rather than it being the phone or os's fault.

Coming from the 8525 which I loved, I'm happy with this phone (using FingerKeyboard 2.0 as an on screen keyboard). I might get the Tilt2 for business since I would be using the keyboard more often.

My battery lasts a week with no problems used moderately. People have unrealistic expectations of bat...

Only issue I've had with this phone is about 50% of the time it will lock up while texting in landscape mode. As the texting program goes to issue the 'message sent' notification, it rotates back to portrait, then tries to flip back to landscape, when it does, it locks up. You have to soft re-set to get it to work again. A registry hack will stop the message sent notification but I'm waiting for something from HTC/ATT-lot's of folks are having this issue.

Other then that, It's a great phone. GPS is very good, works in some vehicles that my TILT would not get a good GPS signal. Voice command works better, calls are clear.

I had the same problem, but I haven't noticed recently. I'm thinking a fix came OTA. Try Start/Settings/AT&T software updates
