Sometimes when I have my phone charging or just there the backlight (from the touchscreen side) will appear and it will be completely white, not even displaying my background picture. This happened with a previous phone and I had contacted them about this issue and they sent me a new phone. This phone has done that at least once or twice. One time as my fiancee was texting from my phone (from the QWERTY side) the screen flashed black and when the back-light turned on again the white parts to the screen were black and the letters that were suppose to be black were white. It was odd. I turned off my phone and removed the battery for a minute or so and turned it back on and it was fine. Has anyone had this problem?

It's normal but weird. If phone is black when you plug in charger it will be white while charging and if you plug in while picture is on it will stay while charging. This phone is weird on things like that compared to the Voyager which I also had.

No it is just when I don't have it doing anything? It just randomly does that out of nowhere. It is not charging and I accidentally have to charge it there the ps3 or Wii. So it is not that. It is out of nowhere that it starts to do that. I'm guessing it is a glitch with the phone because out of all three enV touches I have had the same thing happen but a lot more with this one. It's kinda annoying. But oh well. Could be worse? 😕

it seems like a software glitch. i say everyone who has an issue like this go to verizon and throw the phones at the techs who say they cant replicate the darn issue! 👿

agreed... I have had this issue as well but when you finally get a chance to take it in, well, it just won't do it again. I have found that if I just go to the other screen it usually works itself out or in worse case I've just restarted my phone and it's fine. but if you really want to get it handled your best bet is to call verizon right away and see if they can run something thru your phone let them know you've been to techs and 9 times out of 10 they can help you even if it means they send you a new phone.
