LG enV Touch VX-11000

BLANK SCREEN AND UPDATE

EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE WHEN I GET A TEXT OR PHONE CALL THE OUTSIDE SCREEN REMAINS BLANK. I HAVE VERSION 7.0 ON THE PHONE AND WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN AGAIN I WAS ADVISED THEY DID A SPLASH WHICH SHOULD FIX IT. IS THERE A NEWER VERSION THEN 7.0 OUT THERE?
