LG enV Touch + data plan
I've heard that Verizon did not originally require a data plan with the Touch and now they do. Is this correct? It seems to me if a data plan is required why not step up to a smart phone with Wi-Fi? I don't understand what's going on here since many phones, such as my Moto W755, can access the web and pay on a per megabyte basis.

ok so here is the deal, vzw considers the vx 1100 phone a advanced device, and from this point on if you buy one then you will be required to add a data plan if you are like me an already own one then you are not required to have one only for new devces purchsed in nov hope that clears it up and its the9.99 plan
