once in a while while i'm texting on the external screen, i'll hit send and the screen will go completely white, i'll have to hold down the end button and my phone will turn back on and i'll have to re-type my message and send it again.
also, sometimes when i try to go to my pictures it will turn off and restart itself.
otherwise at any random time i'll just take my phone out of my pocket and it will be off. i have taken it in to verizon and had the latest software update and it didn't fix a thing. i would even recommend not getting this phone for just these reasons, you never know when it will just turn off on you if you're expecting a call, have an alarm set, etc.
