has the same problems all the other Kyocera phones have, ie: powercycling, bad battery, slow menu, etc


then......

i dont think it would be worth the plastic it is molded in

I have had the Kyocera wild card for over a year now and it has been fantastic. No problems. I even got rid of my landline and just have the wild card. In fact, I lost my phone over Christmas and decided to get a cheaper VM phone, and I couldn't stand it after three days and ran back to the store to get another wildcard! It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of an iPhone or Blackberry, but it does the job! It's been 100% reliable. I had a Kyocera slider phone before that with U.S. Cellular, and again that thing was a workhorse. So, not understanding all the negativity. I think everyone has a problem with every brand out there, for one reason or another. It all depends on experiences. But I am here to tell you that my experience has been...

I haven't seen anything wrong with the Lingo/M1000/Wildcard except the occasional random beep. I like the fact the phone is QWERTY. Its probably the only kyocera's phone that i like. Check my reviews. Every phone that kyocera has so far released has been crap. With how everything has been i wouldn't be surprised if it flopped. The company was alright except with the phones that they have released within the past few years.

I've had the X-tc since last Thursday and so far except for two random reboots, it's been solid. It sends text messages with no problem even at zero bars. The web browser's a bit slow, but that's due to VMUSA's 1x network.
