How long does the battery life actually last?

Everyone just says the battery life is short but like I had the HTC Touch and Mogul and I would have to recharge every night. Is it shorter than a full days worth? I'm also in pretty decent coverage area (with the exception of my school) so the switching between evdo and 1x doesn't happen often.

The answer to your question depends on how you use it. Do you keep bluetooth on? Are you constantly listening to music? Do you email or text 1000 time a day, do you have a 10,000 minute a month plan and actually use all of it, etc.

One of the biggest complaints of any smartphone on the market is battery life. The Pre has a smaller than average sized battery for the segment, but at least there is the option to get a spare or a bigger one.
