What would be better, the Palm Pre running webOS or the HTC Hero running Android, that is rumored to be released through Sprint later this year?

AHHHhhhh I asked myself this same question!! I'm kinda mad there's no replies yet.

Have you tried a phone with Android on it?
Have you tried the Pre?
Which would you rather be dealing with?

I've personally only tried the Pre but I keep hearing really good things about Android... And since I have Google Voice I wouldn't mind having Android since I love Google's apps...

Someone online said "More bussineess than fun - Blackberry.
More fun than bussiness - Iphone
Mix of both with a geeky background - Andriod
Can't talk about the pre don't have one. (its a Palm so it will lock up and crash, trust me on this 🙂
Love frustration and pain - Windows Mobile. (Roll on Mobile 7)"

The HERO seems like a real nice phone, I would give the Hero a try. I by far love the Pre! Depends if you also want a physical keyboard or a a virtual one like the Hero 😕

I can deal with a virtual keyboard, the only thing I hate about them is the only one I've ever had was on the HTC Touch with WM6.1 and it freezes so I have to press down for like 3 seconds for each letter to come up it gets realllly annoying. And when I type fast in the keyboard, where there's two letters to each box, it decides to spell words differently (like and becomes snd because I typed it so fast).

I am very torn between the pre and the HTC Hero. On one hand I like the web browser which has full HTML in the Pre. The phone is very easy to use and does basically all I need and more. The battery life is a bit of a concern, but it probably is a concern in all of these phones. The Hero is very customaizable, however does it have full HTML browsing?

How will the battery life be?

The last one is the Samsung Moment. How will this compare? Will it have full HTML browsing? It seems less customizable than Hero.

Can anyone weigh in please?
