hit the send button then dial your number then hit send again and you will connect that way. Or call PALM and ask them, but fair warning you may get hung-up on a few times, and they still not be able to tell you how todo it. I have noticed Palm's support sucks, they don't even know anything about their own products.
If I didn't like the phone so much, I'd switch and goto a Blackberry.
