Transferring mp3 files from pc to phone
I just got my Xenon. I am trying to transfer some mp3 formatted ringtones to my phone with a data cable. i get a msg that says insert memory card for connecting? Do i have to have a memory card to transfer the stuff?

dont you want more space anyway and besides they are super cheap.
so anyway to answer the question. If you go to settings>more>connection>usb connection> which connection do you have chosen? Music sync, mass storage or data service. I don't know if that will matter but it is where I would start first. Music sync works with Windows Media Player. Mass storage just lets you drag and drop like its another hard drive, thats what I would use. Data service is for tethering, not related to file transfer.
