As an example, I can now use my phone at my local laudromat, which is a brick-metal monstrosity that eats phone signal like a fat kid eats donuts. On my RAZR, I was lucky to catch one bar while leaning on a window. Now, with my 8900, I can pretty much camp out inside a dryer and use my UMA connection to send videos of what the inside of an industrial dryer looks like when its on because the laundromat offers free wi-fi.
