I was checking out the Alias 2 at my local Verizon Wireless store (Gaithersburg, Maryland) yesterday and they had them in stock there. I am just trying to decide if it is worthwhile to upgrade from my Samsung Renown, which is almost as good.

I can't help you there - I am upgrading from an LG Dare - can't stand the touch screen. From my experience - I have never had a Samsung I didn't like. I have heard that the ReKnown is a good phone too. Read the Alias 2 reviews here on this site - there is some very good info there. Oh - btw - the Alias 2 is back in stock at Verizon online 😁 I will be writing a review on the Alias 2 after I get it in the mail...
