Ringtones

It's been a while since I've put my own ringtones on a phone but I can't figure this one out. How do I get a ringtone that I've made, onto the phones internal memory so I can use it as a Ringer ID. Right now it is on the micro card and I can't figure out how to transfer it to the phone's memory. Any ideas. Thanks
