I bought the i500 not knowing that it doesn't synch w/ macs. I also have a PC jukebox so I loaded the palm CD onto that, connected my Palm 500 series to it and synched all my apps to the desktop. Then I hooked up the phone base and jammed all the addresses and apps into the phone. It works, but is inconvenient. I just tried synching the phone w/ my mac g3 but a failure notice came up saying that it needed the device driver. It couldn't locate one on the web and the cd from Sprint is definitely PC only. Get a cheap PC unit w/ USB, or borrow a friends to upload everything from your Palm. good luck.
