BlackBerry Storm 9530
ADD IT TO THE LIST
Today was another anomoly with my Storm. The Blackberry Nationwide Email server went down for four hours. For me, it was business as usual. I just added it to page 10 of the pathetic non-performance of this disaster device. I was not surprised the email crapped out. There's nothing consistent with my Storm except for glitch after glitch coming out of "nowhere." Another surprise every day. It was only when I visited Crackberry.com, that the shared annoyance of other BB victims who were email-less became known on the forums.
I made a vow. If the Storm 2 is not 10 times better than this excuse for a phone, they BOTH get a sledgehammer!!! My comparison test will show which screen shatters easier. And you know what's sad? RIM doesn't...

when the phone comes out compare it to the HTC touch Pro 2, the tp2 is wicked! i got my hands on one at a meeting with blackberry and HTC last week and man i love my storm but i do miss the days of my windows devices... that is the only reason i am waiting is to see the s2 if it is any better.... i miss my slingbox and programs that i had with my WM. or if you can wait a lil longer the palm pre is expected to be on the VZW system by the end of FEB...

I have the Storm since day 1 release. I've grown accustomed to BB Apps, Crackberry, the forums and the large screen & touch navigation, so switching to Palm or HTC is problematic for me.
There is the other side of the coin, however. The lack of Verizon/RIM support is pervasive. Just look how long it takes for an update or any advance notification of support & improvement from either of them. Always veiled in secrecy (their policy).
If the Storm 2 is not a noticeable improvement in dependability, consistency & performance, my loyalty will end in a flash. I want a device that works!
Contract penalty....the cost of these phones....Become inconsequential. A call to At&T, made from my pathetic Storm will be its last call made..... :...
