yeah they finally took after samsung and put a sensor mouse (like you see on the omnia) no more cleaning of the ball or slowness because of the dirty track.

I am just thankful the "scroll wheel" was phased out. It kept me from getting one of those Blackberry Bricks ages ago 🤣

Yeah, all of these forums are getting kinda slow. Nothing new to talk about, and I get kinda bored with answering everyones "newbie" questions. I think we are all waiting for the same things: Skyfire, Slingplayer Mobile, OS 5.0

I am still running the leaked 5.0. Some great features, but it's not as stable as the latest 4.7 ones.

I just destroyed another cheapo silicone case again. I take them off every night to put on the charger.

Come on Hawk! Your still using silicone? I'm going with the Incipio Feather. I was thinking about trying out the new Otterbox Commuter.

or the seido, it has the hard thin case, holster, and desktop charger that all works together no need to take anything off (cough quick pull v2). off the subject need another theme and finding nothing but junk really on crackberry.

I've tried all kinds of different themes. I can't find one that runs smooth enough. They all seem like the are a little choppy.

There is a 3G Theme offered yesterday on Crackberry. I've downloaded it and it's terrific! Clean, and has a phone field where you can actually see the number. It's free, too!

yeah i saw that it was nice I'm running it right now. i just hate when someone is "i made a theme" and you get it and its first HUGE then second just destroys your memory i have only found like 5 really good ones and that is it the rest just lag the system down and look ugly. if you come across any others that are clean and the NEW HOTNESS holla back at me.

I've got 4 themes that do not block wallpaper (I have the changer app for a new one every minute). They're clean with good icons. Have to get you the links. I've found that MemoryUp app (crackberry), keeps the device from bleeding MBs and keeps these themes in check. You might want to try it (got great reviews). It seems to have improved holding power. For me, its around 30MBs at start up.

Let me know how the 3G theme is treating your Storm? What's best about it is the lack of childish clutter. I haven't had any increased lag other than what was designed into the phone 😁

yeah the 3g has the faded blue and a black ver. they are pretty clean as far as memory it seems to run pretty smooth. ill have to look at that memory up program.. i use quickpull to have it reboot every morning. just wish we could actually use all 128mb on this phone... a total wiped storm only gives up around 40mb and i hover around 25-30 at boot up.

I'm not the Twizted one, but I read you post about a carry case. So, here's my 2 cents worth.... I've tried em all, from the skins to leather, to Seidio, to the tank-type Otter box, moose type nonsense.

The best case for the Storm, without question is available from Blackberry, at Verizon Stores.

Its got a rubberized, ribbed body, fits like a glove, inverted in the holster, and is super easy to take off for battery pulls. The phone just snaps on like a breeze.

This, of course, is the Survivor's opinion. I love this case and attribute it to one of the reasons I haven't tossed my Storm into the wall! 😈

ill have to look at that one SS... the one I'm talking about malu is siedio innocase 2 it has the thin but covers most of the phone case plus you can get a slide in belt clip, and you can get a slide in desktop cradle that will accommodate the case on the phone. but expect to pay about $60-80 for the whole enchilada

Save yourself the money, Mr. Twizted! The one I'm talking about is sweet. It functions like its made for the phone. Great hand feel, with the rubberized ribs, and it really fits the phone. If your a battery changer like me, about 5 times a day, then you've discovered user-friendliness. Case search will cease!

This thing will never break, and with the saved bucks, you can buy 4 of them! 🙄

Mr. Twizted. I'm always open for something even better! Where can I see your body glove combo? If you have a link, that would be great when you have the chance. I'm not familiar with that item and would not hesitate to give it a try if you think the bucks are worth it.
Thanks,
S.S.

Twizted, I just looked up a post or two and saw your mjention of the Seidio 2. I'll check it out on Crackberry. Let me know how battery pulls function on that one......
Thanks

same as the one you have just a different design really... it has 3 colors you can choose from i think really the one big diff on the seidio is that they have a desktop you can slide you phone into with the case still on. just hate taking off cases on my cradle. u can find the body glove if you google image search it. this case though you need quick pull cause it is a pain to get off once you put it on. 👀 but it is solid though.
