No it cannot be used w/T-Mobile because T-mobile and Verizon have different networks. T-Mobile is a GSM (just like AT&T) and Verizon is CDMA.

If you really want this phone, just switch over to Verizon. Don't even bother messing with Vodaphone. Make your life simpler.

The answer is yes it can me used on AT&T and T-Mobile.

but...

-You have to get the Storm 9530 unlocked
-Unlocked and running on other networks in the USA, you will not have a phone that works at 3G speeds. It will work on 2G/edge speeds

Forget the Vodafone european version it's not needed, the Verizon Storm does have a sim card installed standard out of the box

I think that's funny since the phone can do 3G in EU on GSM. I'm thinking this is something that was specificly requestion on this phone.

Could have been. Not sure if European 3G frequencies and US 3G frequencies are the same either

T-mo 3G bands will use 1700Mhz in the US. The phone supports 2100Mhz for Europe, Asia etc. So it is a no go for 9530 on T-Mo in 3G mode. Although 9520 specs are not fully confirmed, I suspect that version of Storm will not work on T-Mo either as T-Mo does not operate any 850/1900 3G bands in the US.

Some other person on a different forum said that they use UNLOCKED 9530 on AT&T but only in GSM mode. You will not be able to use 3G because of the frequency mismatch. Another challenge would be to unlock the phone if purchased from Vzw, since I suspect it is sold locked.
