"New" Storm Coming?
Has anyone heard of a "new model" Storm due out in Verizon stores within the next 30 - 60 days? Any idea as to what's new about it?

Wifi, new screen, full coverage (over buttons), only have to press the button once instead of 3 times to invoke.... Slightly improved app memory.... better OS 5.0.... Improved battery door cover.... A "maybe" the camera will work like a camera this time around.
Perhaps they addressed some of the two or 300 problems inherent in the original Storm, has to be better by default (could it be worse)???.... will generate a new generation of Storm victims..... better and different touch screen... faster and more accurate typing (only 4 typos per sentence)... endorsement of the Ethiopian Finger Society for the keyboard),... and the best feature? Less cursing per hour and desires to throw the thing into the wall!

That all important Ethiopian Finger Society endorsement and the promisses of less cursing per hour has me sold 😁
But if this Storm doesn't compell me to throw it against the wall every once in a while, I am not sure what I will do with myself 🤣

Hawkeye, its very elementary..RE-BOOT, RE-BOOT, RE-BOOT! I'm very much at ease with my Storm when its dead as a doornail during re-booting. The waters are calm, no lockups, lags, misdirected folders, crazy behavior, clicking and nothing happens, program switches taking so long that I stare at the thing and hate it!!!! None of that, only ultra calm, until I see the word Verizon, and them the home screen fills up, gives me some uncaught exception freakin screen notification, locks up, freezes and I start squeezing the thing, squeezing the life out of it, talking to it, asking it how it could be such a piece of s__t, then screaming at it! and I get NOOO answer,.....so I re-boot and go through the same agony again......... 😡

Reminds me of a Bill Murray movie way back when called Groundhog day 🤣 . Maybe the movie was the inspiration for the Storms OS 🤣

All the info out on the "Deuce" sounds exciting. Anybody have any insight about the release date? I've heard Sept, Oct, and Black Friday. Can anyone narrow that down?

from my sources at RIM, i'm hearing late oct early nov. and on that being said.. phones usually coming out in a month we start to see on our rebate forms. that is another indication.
