Update problem

So I am running software version .132 and when I go to try to the OTA update it tells me no updates are available?

What gives...someone please help.

try going to Blackberry.com/upgrades but you have to do it over internet explorer (not firefox, etc).

Last time they did an OTA update, it lagged behind when the update was available from the websites. I think mine showed up a day or two later last time.

Thanks Hawkeye! It was there and I am dwnling as we speak....lol.

funny thing is I now see an unofficial .151 version...lol

any word on how good that one is?

I think the .151 version is for the overseas 9500 which isn't compatible at least in that form with our 9530's.

We may start seeing some 5.x leaks in the wild soon though. 4.7.0.xxx is no nonger being worked on by RIM I hear

I have heard the same thing if you run a leaked OS and try to upgrade. If it doesn't let you , you may have to downgrade to .75 and do OTA or download official .18 through the web
