ok. so i have the storm. and i love it. but i'm starting to get a little tired of the .75 OS. i know i know i could always upgrade to .113 or something of that nature but truth it....i enjoy me warranty. lol. and if verizon tossed them out then i'm sure not going to trust them myself. but what is up with version .122 just being officially released for the 9530 on the Bell network? WTF! 😡 either bell has low standards and verizon cares about their customers, or VZW is gettin a little too picky. all i'm asking for is something OFFICIALLY from Verizon so i can navigate a little quicker. so with that said, i'll close with this: VZW, please don't be so picky. 🙂

.122 is a tough one to get on your phone too if you don't have Bell.

Normally the files are released as one .exe file. THis one got released through Download manager and some other very nice people are picking up the files from their caches in pieces and posting them.

Tricky install for Verizon users.

Verizon send everyone somewhere for Spring Break???

AH HA! So that makes a little more sense. I'm still peeved that Verizon can't just kick it in the @55 and get 'r done.

ha yeah but now nobody even knows how far RIM is on there updates now. since i guess they're putting trackers in the config so they can tell who's leaking them. they could be on .400 for all we know lol. normally i would have upgraded to one of they leaked OS's a long time ago but since it seems that bad things always end up happening to me. like a 1 out of 10 people thing (i'm the one). it really sucks so i guess i'm just skiddish. ah hell, maybe i'll do it anyway. dang peer pressure lol

I've been running .122 files for about 2 hours and I've had no problem-thus far. I don't know what all the noise is about.

I agree that Verizon needs to pull it's head out of it's A$$ and wake up.

A lot of people who have OS .75 and talk trash about the hybrids and what not have no idea what they are missing. I was at a meeting the other night and a guy there had the Storm with OS. 075. I told him he doesn't know what he is missing. He was complaining about the Storm's sluggishness and the accelerometer's unresponsiveness. I directed him to crackberry.com and blackberryos.com.

all you have to do is flash back to .75 and your warranty comes back into effect. and if you "brick" your phone, take it to the tech. if it wont turn on, they cant see the os your running.

just thought it might make you a lil less tense about updating 🙂
