BlackBerry Storm 9530

storm with mac/updates

storm is in the mail...this is not my first blackberry (it's actually my 5th) and i have used pocketmac to sync things i've needed to (even tho i do plan on using google sync for contacts and calendars- the only things i need syncd)...but i do want to know a) where i can get the latest software (not necessarily official software) and b) how do i install it with a mac?

i do use bootcamp, so if i have to use windows, it's an option...but i'd like to avoid it. either way..where do i get the latest OS?

You will need a PC or a later model Intel Mac with windows installed to get access to all the latest unofficial "leaked" versions. They are all leaked as .exe files.

Latest version that I know has leaked is OS 4.7.0.109 which can be found here:

Official versions released by Verizon get more options like Over the Air (OTA) updating direct to the phone.
