Appleberry theme
Has anyone tried the Appleberry theme that was on Crackberry a couple of days ago? It looks like it's just the kind of visual display I was looking for. One of the reasons I was willing to pull the trigger and order a Storm yesterday.

I tried it and it was pretty cool, but it really leaks your application memory.

I downloaded it a few weeks ago and it's nice to look at. Something different from the default theme, but it makes the phone think all the time (instead of the clock it looks like a color wheel). Finally went back to the default screen but didn't delete app from the phone in case I decide to use again. Does use/leak a lot of memory even when there are no other applications are running.

but then if you look into your hand what do you see, im going with a blackberry and not a iphoney.. so why would you want to mimic your phone to look like another... there is many more excellent themes out there,

I downloaded it a few days ago. So far I like it, mainly because I find it very handy to have my upcoming calendar events show on the screen in a list format. I have not noticed any greater battery drain than normal.
I'm new to the phone, and it's my first BB, so I'm sure there are a lot more themes out there, and some might do the same thing. But to be honest, I don't really want to be constantly downloading and changing the look of the phone. For me, it's a phone first, a time scheduler second, and email device third. This theme works for me.

If you like the appleberry theme lookup metroberry I tried them both both I deleted appleberry kept metroberry. But it is tons to choose from now on crackberry.

Thanks. Will look at it. Just got the phone this morning. I've activated it and have started to explore. Got my personal email account set up and working.
