Please Help: Messaging Question

I was reading a Article about text messaging on the BB STORM and it said that the STORM deletes Text Messages that have been there 30 Days. Is that true? The phone I have now (VX6800) does not make me delete any text messages. It holds unlimited amount of messages forever.

You have the ability on this phone to set your message retention anywhere from 15 days to forever so it is truely your preference 😁

I think the default is 30 days but mine is 30 days. I have email attachments set to only keep for 3 days (these download to my main computer anyway).
